November 16th

It is hard to believe that a year has gone bye already. It was one year ago today that our little girl Abigail Ann past away to be with our Lord. This whole week I have been thinking about that whole ordeal and I have so many mixed feelings about it all. I know that the Lord was in control of everything and that I or David didn't have too many hard choices to make. We have gone through all of the paper work and read the many cards and we have cried and laughed and our hearts were full of gratitude for all of the people in our lives. We praise our God for all of his blessings towards our little family. He has given us 3 beautiful children; what more can I ask for? As I think about Abigail I have a ache in my heart that I can not describe,I know with time this ache will not be so strong. The Lord is good to those that love him!! (My little Tamar reminded me of that this morning).
As we were looking through Abigail's things we found this poem and it hit the mark.

God, Take This Child......
By Nancy Scott
Sweet child whom we never really got to know,
It's hard for us to let you go.
We waited and we wanted you.
We had so many dreams for you.
We think of smiles we'll never see.
We think of events that will never be.
There will be no first steps and no first teeth.
There is only a void and our own grief.
We planned to take you to places far and near.
We yearned to keep you safe and free from fear.
We hoped to show you much of your new world.
We wanted to teach you as your life unfurled.
It's hard to understand why you, our baby, died.
We feel so numb right now, many tears we've cried.
We have so many questions and no answers seem to come.
We tried so hard to save you; nothing could be done.
God, we stand before you broken-hearted
and ask you to heal these lives that must be parted
from this little one we can no longer hold,
who will always be a part of us, even when we're old.
God, take this child in your arms.
No more can she suffer and harm.
Bless her always and bless us too.
Be with us and help us to make it through,
Amen.

It is so hard to try an sum up a whole year because children do so much in one year, they change so much in that time frame.

Well here is the last child. Nathanael

Nathanael (A.K.E. Ezzie) is a happy - crazy boy. When he first wakes up he has a huge smile (like his dad) on his face and his eyes sparkle like the ocean.

Ezzie loves to go to work with his daddy. Ezzie loves all kinds of tools especially the drill and the hammer.(scary eh?)

Ezzie is very mischeiveous and often is making everyone laugh.

Ezzie has been learning the art of ball hockey. His whole face lights up when the ball comes towards him. He is in the middle of the action even though he is the smallest and the youngest.

Ezzie has learned to ride a bike with training wheels and to make coffee for his daddy (grounds and all!)

Ezzie will be 4 years old in Jan.

So this is our small but great family.

God has blessed us greatly with these precious children. Praised be his name!!
So hear is another brag letter about one of my children for all you that have asked about them.

Day in the Life of Tamar

Tamar is a pleasure to be around, always so eager to help and a contant chatter box.
Tamar loves to sit and read and write. If there is a lap available she will be right there with a book.
Tamar has a heart to help people. She loves to help make things or go shopping for people. Tamar is a Huge fan of school work. She love to sit in her desk and having her books all around her.
This is Tamars first year of gymnastics. She is crazy for this activity. She sits for 1 hour before it is her turn, and she watches everything that the bigger kids are doing. She gets along with her instructor very well.
Tamar loves to swing on her new rope swing that her daddy put up for her.
Tamar has turned 5 years old this last October. She has come a long way in one year.

News about Nathanael later.
